Stockholm Through Our Eyes: Hagaparken & Brunnsviken
Discover Hagaparken & Brunnsviken: royal dream landscapes, unique environments and peaceful walks near Stockholm's inner city.

1. The walk along Brunnsviken
Brunnsviken
The water, the large trees and the soft paths make the area around Brunnsviken one of our favorite places for quiet walks near the inner city. Here, Stockholm suddenly feels much bigger and greener.
2. Gustav III's pavilion
Gustav III:s paviljong
The small pavilion by the water tells of a time when Hagaparken was intended as a royal dream landscape inspired by antiquity and European parks. A quiet and elegant corner of Stockholm.
3. The Copper Tents
Koppartälten
The unusual copper tents are one of Hagaparken's most distinctive environments. The facades look like tent canvases but hide buildings from the late 1700s — a playful meeting between theater, architecture and royal visions.
4. The Butterfly House and the tropical heat
Fjärilshuset
In the middle of oaks and parkland there is suddenly a tropical world filled with butterflies and exotic plants. A popular stop for both adults and children.
5. The Echo Temple and the evening light
Ekotemplet
By the water lies the Echo Temple surrounded by greenery and open views of Brunnsviken. Feel free to come here late in the day when the evening light reflects over the water and the park becomes its calmest.
6. Bellevue and the view towards the city
Bellevueparken
In the southern parts of the park, nature meets the city's silhouette. Here you will find both historical buildings and views that show how close Stockholm and the landscape have always lived to each other.
7. A royal landscape in the middle of the big city
Hagaparken
Hagaparken is more than a park — it is a cultural landscape where nature, history and architecture are interwoven. Here it is possible to understand why Stockholmers like to come here to take a breather.
