Stockholm through our eyes: Vasastan
Join us to Vasastan! We guide you to parks, neighborhoods and places that show the district's charm and history.

1. Vasaparken early mornings
Vasaparken
When the city has just woken up, Vasaparken is one of our favorite places in Vasastan. Here, families with children, morning walks and quiet neighborhoods mingle between turn-of-the-century houses and greenery.
2. The Atlas Quarter and everyday Stockholm
Atlasområdet
A little hidden behind Sankt Eriksplan lies the Atlas Quarter with smaller buildings, courtyards and a slower pace. An area where Stockholm feels more lived than shown.
3. Rörstrandsgatan and neighborhood life
Rörstrandsgatan
A street that shows Vasastan's social side. Here, cafes, restaurants and everyday life are mixed with wide sidewalks and a classic stone city feeling. Especially nice during spring and summer evenings.
4. Observatorielunden and Brunkebergsåsen
Observatorielunden
Here you can see the landscape that once shaped Stockholm. The height of Brunkebergsåsen offers fine views of the city and the area around the old observatory offers both history and tranquility in the middle of the inner city.
5. Röda Bergen
Röda Bergen
One of Stockholm's most interesting residential areas from the 1920s. Here, national romanticism and classicism meet in an area planned for light, air and greenery — while the neighborhoods still feel human and homely.
6. Bellevueparken and the view towards Brunnsviken
Bellevueparken
A little further north, the city opens up to water and parkland. Bellevue is perfect for those who want to combine walking, history and nature without leaving the inner city.
7. Tegnérlunden in evening light
Tegnérlunden
Between high stone buildings and city traffic lies Tegnérlunden as a quiet green break. Here you will find both literary history and beautiful views of the church towers and Vasastan's roof landscape.
