Welcome to Stockholm!

My name is Tobias Örnrud and for the past decade I have worked as an authorized Stockholm guide and guide in English and Swedish in what I consider the world's most beautiful city. Since I finished school, I have worked in tourism and the visitor industry. Travel agencies and tour operators, hotels and bus companies. During my tours, I want to try to convey what it is like to live in Stockholm here and now, to tell the city's exciting history in a simple and easy-to-understand way, but also to confront the challenges it faces today. Stockholm is my hometown.

The city between the bridges has so much to offer its visitors, of course you should visit some of the many unique museums, but I think a well-chosen walk can be just as rewarding. Depending on when you visit Stockholm, you will meet two different types of Stockholmers: the Winter Stockholmer or the Summer Stockholmer, they are two different types of Stockholmers. It is also worth knowing that there is no bad weather here, only bad clothes.

 My ambition is to continuously educate myself in both the local and national, to be curious and fact-thirsty, which I am and it is rarely a disadvantage when working as a guide.  One ability I have also discovered that I have is a strange ability to remember such unnecessary facts that you don't really need to know but that can lead to many laughs and fond memories from the tour.
