Hello, my name is Stefan Maurbakken and I run VerdeVerde Travel.

After more than 20 years in Italy and a long professional life as an employee, I chose to start my own business – Den gröna guiden by VerdeVerde Travel.
Verde is Italian for green, and reflects both my background and my way of working.

During the years in Italy, an idea grew: to one day welcome visitors to Stockholm and Sweden, and show the city with knowledge and presence.

Today I offer city walks in Stockholm, Uppsala and Västerås, with a focus on sustainability and content.
I guide in Swedish, English and Italian.

In my walks I work with storytelling – to put places in their context and bring the history around us to life.
